Monique Holmes Private Executive Thought Partner
Someone you can turn to when everyone turns to you
About
Meet Your Thought Partner
Hi, I'm Monique. And I believe even the person everyone depends on deserves someone she can turn to.
You're used to being the one others count on. The one who listens, makes the tough decisions, and figures things out.
But who does that for you?
That's why I offer a private space where you can speak freely, think out loud, and bring the things you don't always have room to share elsewhere.
For as long as I can remember, people have felt comfortable telling me things they haven't told anyone else.
Sometimes they're people I've known for years. Other times, we've only just met.
What begins as an ordinary conversation often becomes something more personal.
They share what's weighing on them, a decision they're struggling with, or something they haven't felt comfortable saying out loud.

Over time, I've come to understand that being capable, accomplished, and trusted by others doesn't mean you always have someone you can turn to.
And you shouldn't have to figure everything out alone.
I understand the world you carry on your shoulders.
For more than 15 years, I've worked alongside physicians, surgeons, healthcare executives, and financial leaders.
I've seen the demands that come with important decisions, competing priorities, and being the person others look to for answers.

My ability to listen, understand complex needs, and build trust contributed to more than $200 million in advanced medical equipment sales.
My sales wisdom was featured in The Huffington Post, and I was invited to share best practices at my Fortune 500 employer's CEO town hall.

I'm also an award-winning professional actress.
My professional coaching training adds structure and purpose to something that has always come naturally to me helping people feel comfortable enough to speak freely.

But here's what matters most about working with me.
You don't have to impress me.
You don't have to be the expert, the leader, the problem solver, or the woman who always has the answers.
You can bring the difficult decision. The unfinished thought. The responsibility that's weighing on you. The dream you've put on hold. Or the question you haven't been ready to ask yourself.
You can bring the whole story.
I listen for more than what's being said.
I pay attention to what keeps coming up. What seems to matter most. Where you may be torn between what you want and what you feel responsible for doing.
And sometimes, I notice a question that hasn't been asked yet.
When I see something worth exploring, I'll bring it into our conversation with care.
One client described our work this way:
"You listened and asked questions that I was afraid to ask myself. I learned things about myself that I didn't know.”
That's what I want our conversations to make possible for you.
Not someone telling you what to do.
Not another set of expectations to meet.
And certainly not another place where you have to pretend everything is fine.
Just a private space where you can think out loud, speak freely, look at things differently, and decide what feels right for you.
Because sometimes, what you need most isn't another opinion.
It's someone you trust enough to tell the whole story.
Bring the complicated version. We'll work through it together.
I'd be honored to think alongside you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is a Private Executive Thought Partner?
Think of me as someone you can turn to when you need space to think, talk through something important, or see a situation from a different perspective.
I'm not here to tell you what to do or hand you a plan for your life. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and share observations that may help you notice what you've been missing. It's a private partnership built around you, your circumstances, and the things that matter most to you.
Who is this for and what can we talk about?
I work with high capacity women who are used to carrying responsibility and being the person others depend on. You might be a business owner, physician, executive, senior professional, or a woman navigating an important season of life. We can explore a difficult decision, a career change, competing priorities, a personal concern, a dream you've put on hold, or something you haven't quite found the words for yet. You don't need a perfect explanation of what's going on. Bring the complicated version. We'll work through it together.
How is this different from talking to a friend, hiring a consultant, or going to therapy?
Friends care about you, but they may have their own opinions, concerns, or personal connection to your situation. Consultants are generally hired to provide expert advice and recommendations. Therapy provides mental health care and treatment. Our thought partnership is different. My role is to offer a private, thoughtful conversation focused on helping you explore your own questions, recognize patterns, consider possibilities, and make decisions that are right for you. You remain in charge of your choices. And unlike therapy, our work is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
What are the ways we can work together and what can I expect during our sessions?
Every session is a private conversation shaped around what's most important to you. I'll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and share observations to help you see things more clearly.
I offer three ways to work together, depending on what you need.
I offer three ways to work together, depending on what you need.
The Clarity Diagnostic — One Focused Session
We spend 75 minutes exploring one pressing issue or decision. Afterward, you'll receive a personalized Clarity Report & Map with key insights and possible next steps.
The Clarity Advantage — Six Private Sessions
Over 8–10 weeks, we have time to explore decisions, challenges, and priorities more deeply. Each conversation builds on the last, with personalized notes to help you carry insights forward.
The Clarity Advantage | Ongoing — Continued Partnership
With up to three sessions each month and priority messaging during designated service hours, you have a consistent thought partner who understands your circumstances and can help you think through new situations as they arise.
Will our conversations be private?
Privacy and discretion are important parts of our partnership. I understand that some things aren't easy to discuss with colleagues, friends, family, or the people who depend on you. I'll treat what you share with care, respect, and without judgment. Our agreement explains how confidentiality works, including any legal or safety related exceptions. I want you to feel comfortable speaking freely and bringing the whole story.
How do I know if we're a good fit, and how do we get started?
For my longer-term partnerships, the first step is to schedule a 20-minute Private Partnership Consultation and complete a few brief application questions before we meet. During our conversation, we'll discuss what you're looking for, the challenges or decisions you'd like support with, and how working together could help. I'll explain my approach, answer your questions, and recommend the partnership I believe best fits your needs. I don't accept everyone into my private partnerships. I believe meaningful work requires mutual trust, genuine alignment, and a commitment to the process on both sides. If we both feel it's the right fit, we'll discuss the investment and next steps to begin working together. My goal is to make sure we're entering a partnership that makes sense for both of us.
